Chevrolet Spark
In the beginning March on automobile show in Geneva the world premiere of subcompact hatchback Chevrolet Spark of new generation which has been created on motives of concept car Beat for the 1st time shown in last year at an exhibition in New York will take place.The novelty is developed in Korea and constructed on a new platform of concern General Motors. In the European car market for a hatchback it will be originally offered two four-cylinder petrol engines in volume of 1,0 and 1,2 litres developing 65 and 86HP accordingly. It's expected, that then there will be an updating with a 1,3-litre turbodiesel which will be accessible in two variants — 75 and 90HP. Motors depending on updating begin to be aggregated from five-or a six-step mechanical transmission.
In the European car market the novelty will appear on sale in the beginning of 2010 and will compete to compact hatchbacks Hyundai i10 and Ford Ka.
