Within the next two years concern General Motors will present 25 new models: 10 cars will be intended for brands Buick and GMC, 10 more — for Chevrolet and five — for mark Cadillac. About it on Tuesday, on August, 11th, at press conference in the technical centre of concern GM in the city of Warren (Michigan, USA) the chief executive of American company Fritz Henderson has declared.

At present it is known only about four new models which according to the presented plan, will enter the market by 2011. Among these cars there will be "connected" hybrid crossover Buick, electrosedan Chevrolet Volt, sedan Cadillac XTS which will come in the stead of flagman car DTS, and compact car ATS. Last from them begins to be issued as in zadne — and an all-wheel drive variant and after an exit on the market will make a competition to hatchback BMW 1-Series.

Besides it, Fritz Henderson has officially informed indicators of fuel profitability of car Chevrolet Volt which have been calculated by the new technique prepared by American EPA specially for "connected" hybrids, like "Volta". According to this technique, the expense of fuel Volt in a city cycle makes hardly more than one litre on hundred kilometres of a way. As it was informed earlier, Chevrolet Volt will appear on sale in the USA in the end of next year.
