After that the 47-strong three-cylinder petrol engine in volume of 1,2 litres, developed by company Lotus joins. This engine allows to continue the car movement and charges batteries, increasing a course stock (at completely filled tank) to 960 km.
According to Jaguar, the average expense of fuel at Limo-Green makesLet's notice, that earlier Land Rover on the similar purposes has received 27 million pounds sterling. These means it is planned to spend for working out of a new crossover with scale of ecologically pure engines. One of models Land Rover can receive in the near future the same hybrid power-plant, as at Limo-Green. 4,9 litres, and level of emissions CO2 — 120 g/km. The maximum speed of a hybrid — 180 km/h.
Concept-car Limo-Green is completely a working prototype, and high-grade tests of the car plan to begin next year in Los Angeles. On working out of this car created by the British company in cooperation with firms Lotus, MIRA and Caparo, the mullions-strong sum of money has been spent. Conceptual working out new Jaguar XJ is a part of the large state credit (800 million pounds sterling), given Jaguar and Land Rover on release of ecologically pure models.
