Lexus С-Premium (prototype)
Appearance of the car for 90% will correspond to the serial car, whose world premiere will take place next year at an exhibition in Geneva. On it informs British edition Autocar referring to own sources.The name of the commodity version of front-wheel hatchback Lexus C-Premium officially yet is not called, however, according to some information, the car will receive index BS or CS. The novelty will be equipped with exclusively electric hybrid power-plant combining the 2,4-litre four-cylinder engine, the electromotor and a variator. Total power of this power unit makes 187HP. We will notice, that similar installation also is used on hybrid Lexus HS 250h which sales in the USA have begun in the middle of July.
It's expected, that on the European car market serial hatchback Lexus leaves in the autumn of 2010. The car will make competition Audi A3 and BMW 1-Series, and cost will be little bit less, than the price of sedan IS in the version with the diesel motor.
