On Thursday company Saab has extended the official information and photos of a sedan 9-5 new generations which will be presented general public on September automobile show in Frankfurt. The interior and appearance of the car are executed in stylistics Aero-X. New Saab 9-5 it is constructed on the same platform which is used for family Opel Insignia — Epsilon II concern General Motors.

As it was informed earlier, the Swedish sedan on 17 sm became longer than the predecessor, and the wheel base has increased by 13 sm — to 2,84 m. For the car it will be offered two various variants of a suspension bracket which depend on engine type. Sedan Saab 9-5 will receive an adaptive suspension bracket and system of a full drive.

The full drive will be accessible only with turbo-engines in volume of 2,0 and 2,8 litres power of 220 and 300HP accordingly. Also in scale of engines there will be the 1,6-l petrol unit with a turbo-supercharging, developing 180HP, 2,0-litre engine BioPower, capable to work on bioethanol Е85, and a two-litre diesel engine power of 160HP (350Nm). All motors begin to be aggregated with a six-step automatic or mechanical transmission.

Let's notice, that the novelty also will receive the projective display showing on a windshield data about speed of the car, adaptive systems of the cruise-control and headlights of head light, the climate control and audiosystem Harman/Kardon with navigation, the eight-inch touch screen and a hard disk.

To European car dealers Saab 9-2 of new generations will arrive only next year. On preliminary data, the prices for the car will begin from €34,700.
