The Land Rover Freelander 2 Black & white Editions are already on sale in Land Rover dealers. Production is being restricted to only 600 units and will be based on entry level S variant.
It is available with the 2.2-liter diesel engine, which is good for 148 hp. Both front- and all-wheel drive versions are available - the former starts at £22,495, while the latter is £2,000 more expensive, at £24,995.
The both engines come standard with a six-speed manual transmission, but you can opt for a six-speed automatic on the TD4 engine. The front-wheel-drive model squeezes out a respectable 47.1 miles per gallon and emits 158g/km of CO2. The four-wheel-drive model returns 45.6 miles per gallon and 165g/km of CO2.
On the outside the front grille, side vents and door handles have a distinctive gloss black finish − shared with the Dynamic model − plus split-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the Black & White model adds Bluetooth and a loadspace cover to the revised cabin and dash layout introduced for 2013, making this a stylish and practical complement to a modern, active lifestyle.
ABT Sportsline has releases a new upgrade package for the Audi RS4 Avant.
The wagon version of the Audi RS4, the Avant, is now getting 25 mm wheel spacers and a fresh set of 20-inch turbine style alloy wheels. Changes also include some other minor tweaks to its exterior design which are contributing to that overall aggressive look and to the model’s elegance.
The RS4 is powered by a 4.2l V8 with 450 hp (331 kW) and accelerates faster than previous generations, one essential number hasn’t changed: its top speed of 250 km/h. That’s because of the factory electronic speed limiter.
The estate's top speed at 250 km/h, courtesy of the factory fitted limiter, has been increased. Speed demons out there would be glad to know that ABT can actually forego the limiter for the 'proper' top speed of 290km/h.
Thirty Odyssey batteries are used to feed an electric motor rated at 260-kilowatts (the equivalent of 350 horsepower) and an impressive 850 pound-feet of torque. Public preconceptions of electric cars as wimpy fiberglass golf carts are starting to wane, ever so slowly.
Like the monster trucks you can see at just about any stadium around the country, this Bigfoot has tires that make crushing cars easy and four-wheel steering for better maneuverability. In all, the truck's 36 batteries add an extra 1,375 pounds, and while the system includes on-board battery chargers, there is no word on how long such a job would take.
Besides having an electric powertrain, the #20 BIGFOOT is equipped with heavy-duty ZF planetary axles, a ProFab transfer case and 25-inch steel wheels with 66-inch tall Firestone tires. The model has also switched back to a Ford body after briefly using a Chevrolet body in 2010.
Do we need to remind you that, because it’s electric, the truck has all that torque on tap at zero rpm?
