Cabriolet E-Class Coupe has started the final tests
Company Mercedes-Benz has started the closing stage of tests of the open version of coupe E-Class of new generation which will appear on sale in the European car market in the beginning of next year. As informs the British edition Autocar which has published espionage photos of this car, engineers Mercedes-Benz have already carried out tests of a suspension bracket and controllability for a Nurnburgring, and also have finished comparison of a novelty with cabriolets Lexus IS and BMW 3-Series.
Cabriolet Mercedes-Benz E-Class
As it was informed earlier, cabriolet Mercedes-Benz E-Class will receive a soft developing roof and a small spoiler on an edge of a windshield which at the "lowered" roof will cut a running stream of air from passengers and will allow to lower aerodynamic noise. Thus the corner of attack of this spoiler can be adjusted at the desire.
It's expected, that for opened E-Class the same scale of engines, as for a sedan and a compartment, including four-cylinder petrol turbo-engines with direct injection of fuel, diesel engines with two turbines and, probably, "charged" versions AMG will be offered.
