Company Ford has presented the official information and photos of off-road car Explorer of following generation.

Car manufacture begins in the near future at factory in Chicago, and sales will start in the winter of current Year.

The off-road car is constructed on platform D4 which is used on cars of Ford Flex and Lincoln MKT, and also has an integral body. According to representatives of manufacturer, in comparison with the predecessor, weight of new Explorer has been lowered on 45 kgs at the expense of use in a design of easier materials.
