At the autoexhibition which has taken place in Detroit, South Korean company Kia has presented the conceptual pickup Soul'ster constructed on the basis of compact crossover Soul.

Appearance of a pickup in comparison with a serial crossover, not including an open back part of a body, has changed slightly. Designers have reduced a windshield, have added light-emitting diode headlights of head light and back lanterns, hardly have increased ventilating apertures under headlights, and also have completed with 19-inch wheel disks from an aluminium alloy. The conceptual car, also as well as serial Soul, is front-wheel and is equipped by the four-cylinder petrol engine.

In a back part of a body the two-section "rag" roof can be established, and the forward passenger seat and back armchairs develop level with a floor.

As informs British edition Car, the car has been created in the mark design centre in Los Angeles only as a prototype — without plans about a batch production. However magazine sources inside Kia have specified, that if reaction of visitors of automobile show to pickup Soul'ster will be positive the company management will consider the problem on statement of similar model on the conveyor.
