Company Opel has extended the first official images of an interior of hatchback Astra of new generation. Judging by these pictures, the design of salon of a novelty in many respects reminds an interior of senior model Insignia.

At Astra the similar instrument panel with four "wells" and red illumination, precisely same wheel with command keys a radio tape recorder and the onboard computer, and similar architecture of the central console with four rotating handles.
Besides, as representatives of company Opel speak, the novelty will have a set of additional coupe under small things, including capacious boxing under a seat of the forward passenger. Armchairs of the passenger and the driver can rise and fall on 6,5 centimetres, and the range of their moving forward-back makes 28 centimetres.

Earlier it was informed, that new hatchback Opel Astra is constructed on platform Delta of II concern General Motors which also is used on models Chevrolet Cruze and Volt. The wheel base of a novelty in comparison with the predecessor has increased by 71 millimetre, and the body total length has grown with 4,24 to 4,4 metres. In total for new Astra it's provided four petrol motors by power from 100 to 180HP, including a 1,4-litre turbo-motor (140 forces) and four diesel engines.
World debut Opel Astra of following generation will take place in the autumn on a motor show in Frankfurt then the novelty will appear at European car dealers.
